Orientation Class-
If this is your first time doing CrossFit, you will start with an orientation class. This class is designed to introduce you to CrossFit, to our garage gym, and the coaches; Darren, Jenn, and Andrew. It’s also an opportunity for us to learn more about you and your goals, and will provide us with a baseline fitness assessment which will help us appropriately scale WODs for you. Your orientation will be either a workout with the class or a separate workout when scheduled in a group of 2 or more.-
A Few Words about Form-
Understanding what good form looks and feels like, and practicing it from the beginning, is of paramount importance to optimum performance. In weight lifting, poor form often results in drastically lowered PRs (personal records) and injury. Getting form right at the beginning, and enforcing good form during each movement is the best foundation for optimum performance.-
